"Suits" is an American legal television series produced by Universal Content Productions. The story is set in a fictional law firm in New York. The first episode of the first season premiered on USA Network on June 23, 2011 with a 90-minute extended version. It lasted for nine seasons and aired its final episode on September 25, 2019.

It was remade in South Korea in April 2018 and released as the Korean drama version "슈츠". In October of the same year, Japan remade the series and released the Japanese drama version "SUITS/スーツ".
Story :
Mike Ross, a man with a photographic memory, lost his parents at a young age and was expelled from college for helping a friend. In order to better take care of his grandmother, he is willing to risk his life and make a living by helping others get into law school. By chance, he met Harvey Specter, a senior partner at a well-known law firm in Manhattan. Harvey saw a bit of himself in this young man and decided to take a chance and hire Mike as his paralegal, even though Mike had no law degree or license. In this company with extremely high work pressure and fierce competition, two people with completely different situations but similar personalities unfold an unstoppable story while protecting Mike's secrets.
The show combines humor and seriousness, silliness and cleverness, and it hits all the right notes. What is most fascinating about this drama is the madness at the beginning: a young man with an extraordinary memory who makes a living by committing crimes, and a middle-aged man who is paranoid and arrogant but at the top of the legal profession. The series is obviously centered on upholding the law, but they commit crimes together from the very beginning to deceive the lawyer's qualification. If the secret is discovered, Mike Ross will be put in jail and Harvey Specter will be disbarred. The two carefully fabricated a lie to create the illusion that Mike Ross graduated from Harvard Law School. Although the premise is completely illogical, it fully reflects the tension between Mike Ross's positive passion for the law and the fact that he blatantly violated the law. Harvey’s desperate efforts to keep Mike Ross by his side powered much of the show’s eight-year run.

This is a buddy comedy and a soap opera, in which Harvey teaches Mike Ross how to be a mature man, while Mike Ross teaches Harvey to release his long-buried compassion. In each episode, the attorneys take on a case that they think will be an easy one, and by the end of the show, they have overcome some major obstacles. As a TV series, it is not easy to produce nine seasons smoothly without getting boring. There are also many intriguing sentences and gorgeous costumes in the play that attract the eye. Even if the direction is predictable, there’s a certain thrill in the constant guessing of how Mike and Harvey will get out of this mess.

Every dozen episodes, someone figures out that Mike isn’t a real lawyer and needs to be bribed, blackmailed, extorted, and prayed for. The plot is crazy and fascinating, and once you get into the rhythm of the plot, you will quickly immerse yourself in it.

On the other hand, Pearson Hardman's company is pretty chaotic by workplace standards. There’s an undeniable appeal to the ups and downs of the characters in the show, as each lawyer teeters on the legal fringe in their quest to become a name partner, while the law firm changes its name every few episodes.

Suits becomes an apt and illuminating metaphor for a wider crisis of perception, an attempt to create a world where laws are impractical because they can always be manipulated to get the price right. Mike is convinced that he is a real lawyer, and the rational people find themselves heading towards a version of reality that is completely different from climate change denialism, and end up believing their own distortion of reality. In other words, it’s the resonance, not the truth, that matters.
